Merit Badges

Many Northern California organizations and businesses support Scouting by offering merit badge programs. Some of them are offered at discounted prices or even free. Gilwell Group has organized these offerings into a “merit badge of the month” program. At the end of one year, an active unit can probably complete all twelve merit badges.

In addition to the merit badges below, REI and Sports Basement offer regular classes to improve Scoutly skills like GPS, Backpacking, First Aid, and much more. Check out their web sites.
